Trinity’s quest is one of adventure and growth. She learns what family and friendship mean. As she discovers her strengths, she also loses her innocence and must face the harshness and realities of life. Class divisions, genetic experimentation, hatred, aminal rights, and exploitation are some of the underlying themes that Trinity must confront.

This is a light, quick read. As the first book in the series, Escape leaves many questions that I hope will be resolved in the subsequent books. Guess I’m hooked.
