Though subtitled a mystery and suspense thriller, I just could not get into The Assassins’ Village by Faith Mortimer. If you are a fan of the author’s writing, you might appreciate this tale. I found it dull and the characters flat. After reading more than 15% of the book, I gave up trying to find its redeeming value.
