The story starts slowly but quickly becomes convoluted as Amanda, a local 18-year-old, goes missing and is later found frozen on the ski lift. There are several possible murderers, and quickly sorting out all the information adds pressure to the understaffed police department. People’s lives are not always what is seen, and secrets revealed cause pain before finding the solution. Nevertheless, I enjoyed learning about Swedish mountain life.
