Book Marketing Made Easy: Simple Strategies for Selling Your Nonfiction Book Online by D’vorah Lansky is a must read or those just starting to create an author’s platform providing information on marketing strategies, relationship marketing, blogging, social networking, promoting you book with teleseminars, information marketing, article marketing, and video marketing. What I particularly liked was the listing of common mistakes to avoid and the summaries at the end of the chapters, including references.
I found information in this book very useful. I learned about the importance of sending thank you notes to show client appreciation, how to use WordPress categories correctly (I wasn’t), how to use blog directories to market your blog, ways to promote your blog offline, and the importance of teleseminars.
This book is so chock-full of good ideas, that you might consider buying it in print. You will want to highlight it and refer back to it time and again.
