I loved Claude’s Canvas by Mark Almand. Even though the subtitle is A Great Father Through the Eyes of His Son, I as a woman could easily empathize with the author’s emotions and sentiments. Written in the first person, Mr. Almand uses narration and poetry to  portray his father and their shared relationship. The writing is intense, moving me to tears as I recalled my father’s passing.

Jeff Goins writes one of the best forwards I have ever read. Don’t skip it.

I recommend this book for those who are facing a father’s death or who wish to be inspired by a son’s love for father.
